I don't bleach my skin often. I happen to do it once in 4 months or more. Bleaching helps me to remove the tan and makes my skin look fairer. Previously I used to use VLCC Insta Glow Herbal Bleach and I did not like it much. During one of my parlor visits, my beautician asked me to try VLCC Insta Glow Gold Bleach. She was pretty confident that it will suit my skin. I have a normal skin and was ready to try this bleach out as I trust her advice. Directions For Use:

1. Wash the area to be bleached with soap & cold water. Pat dry.
2. Apply entire quantity of Pre Bleach Cream & massage gently till it gets absorbed.
3. Mix the contents of Bleach Cream : Powder Activator in the ratio of 10g cream with 1g of activator powder. Mix the two well till the powder gets completely dissolved into the cream.
For a single application mix the entire jar of powder activator into the bleach cream & mix well.
4. Apply the mixture on the area to be bleached using the spatula. Make sure the hair are completely covered. Avoid application on eyebrows and around the eyes.
5. Allow application to remain for the suggested time given under 'Recommended Time'. If hair is not ligtened as much as desired, re-apply the mixture and leave on for 5 more minutes.
6. Wash off with cold water. Pat dry.
7. Apply a thin layer of the Post Bleach Pack, leave on for about 5 minutes then massage gently to facilitate complete absorption.
Recommended Time:
a) Darker Skin Tone: Upto 10 minutes
b) Wheatish Skin Tone: Upto 15 minutes
c) Fair Skin Tone: Atleast 15 minutes or more
The exact time required for bleaching will depend on the skin type. It can be fixed with personal experience.

My Experience With VLCC Insta Glow Gold Bleach Review:

Pre-bleach cream and post-bleach pack are really important when it comes to bleaching. Pre-bleach cream protects the skin from irritation during bleaching and post-bleach cream provides the required nourishment to the skin and soothes it. This product has both and I was happy to use it. The pre-bleach cream is light orange in color and is gel like. It gets absorbed on application and is good to use before we bleach our skin.

The bleach cream is orange in color with a thick consistency. The entire tub of bleach cream is required for one usage to bleach the face and neck. Hence, I used the entire activator in the bleach cream.

The activator is light cream in color and I mixed it with the bleach cream using a spatula. In 2 mins, the activator powder gets absorbed in the bleach cream and is ready for application.

Upon application, I experienced slight irritation but it was okay. I guess that happens with any bleach we use. I kept it on for 15 minutes and it bleached my entire facial hair well. It however didn't bleach my upper lip. So I had to put it on for extra 5 minutes there. But overall, my entire facial hair was bleached good enough. It also helped to remove the tan I had and made my skin glow. To complete the bleach, I applied post bleach pack. The post-bleach pack is transparent gel like with gold flakes in it. It gets slightly sticky on application but gives good results in the end. I liked this bleach and would surely continue using it in future.

You can go ahead and use this bleach on special occasions. It will make your skin glow removing all the tan. In fact, it does a perfect clean up and gives you a fresh look. Make sure you do a patch test before you use.
