Hello beautiful souls! How are you all doing? Summers already started here in Kolkata and day by day it is getting sultry and uncomfortable. The climate here is very humid and I just hate this sticky feeling. I am a newbie when it comes to makeup and just started experimenting. I have never used a lipstick in my life until last year. Being a student I have to adjust my expenses with the pocket money I get. So I don't go for high end brands as they are pricey. When I started doing makeup for the first time, the company whose makeup products I found to be perfect for a school or college going girl was Elle18. They have this amazing collection of budget nail paints and lipsticks. Their currently launched compacts and foundations are something to look out for. So without any second thoughts I picked my first lipstick from Elle18 which I am going to review today. I am going to review a much talked about product Elle18 Color Pops Lipstick In Coral Romance(No 42).
About Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick In Coral Romance:
A blast of color with a punch of cocoa. The intense moisturizing core in the center protects and cares for your lips.
Price:
Rs.100/- for 4.3 ml
Shelf Life:
30 months
Ingredients List:
Nothing particularly mentioned except cocoa butter.
My Experiences With Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick In Coral Romance:
This lipstick comes in a black colored plastic bullet with the picture of a cute girl printed on it. The shade name and number is printed at the base. The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly but the lipstick bullet inside is weak. I broke my other lipstick from the base which is from the same range. Coral Romance is a beautiful peachy coral shade sans any shimmers. It is a totally wearable color which can be worn to college or for a day out. It instantly brightens up the face. The texture is super soft and glides without any tugging or pulling. This beautiful peachy color will suit fair to medium skin tone very well. It is very soft and keeps the lips moisturized. The pigmentation is neither too good nor too bad. In a single swipe it gives a light flush of color which can be built up. For pigmented lips it may take multiple swipes. The smell of this lipstick resembles of cocoa which bothers my sensitive nose a little. However the smell disappears after few minutes. The only downfall I found in this lipstick is its staying power. The staying power is as low as 1-2 hours without eating anything. It will disappear once you eat or drink something leaving behind a light stain. But given its affordable price, we cannot complain much about it.
Pros Of Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick In Coral Romance:
Cons Of Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick In Coral Romance:
Diva Likes Rating:
3.5/5
Final Note:
I would say that Coral Romance is a beautiful fresh peachy shade lipstick with good moisturizing texture. You can surely give it a try. I choose to ignore the staying power because of its reasonable price.
