Summer is at its peak here in Kolkata with maximum temperature ranging up to 44 degrees. It is becoming unbearable and impossible to step out of home. But to manage our day-to-day work we need to go out and that is taking a toll on my skin. I have a fair complexion which tans very badly in summers. Whenever I step out I have to cover my whole face and hands because it tans even if I stay out in the sun for just an hour. I am always in the search of a good anti tan pack. I keep trying home remedies but they take a lot of time and I become impatient. When I was searching online for some good anti tan packs, I came across Nature's Essence Lacto Tan Clear. I had good experience with Nature's Essence products earlier and after reading positive reviews about this pack I decided to give it a try.
About Nature's Essence Lacto Tan Clear:
Milk proteins and honey enriched special tan cream helps remove the epidermal sun tan, thereby restoring the natural fairness of the skin and also preventing pigmentation due to harmful sun. Its matt effect is ideal for hot climates and the cream also helps enhance after facial glow.
Price:
85 INR for 50 g
Shelf Life:
3 years
Ingredients List:
Milk, honey and geranium oil.
Directions For Use:
Apply layer on the face/skin and keep it on for 10-15 min and after soft massage remove with water.
My Experience With Nature's Essence Lacto Tan Clear:
Nature's Essence Lacto Tan Clear comes in a bright yellow tube with a flip cap which shuts tight with a click sound and hence it is travel friendly. Earlier it used to come in a tub packaging which was unhygienic but recently the company has changed its packaging. The cream is white in color and of thick consistency with a very strong fresh fragrance. What attracted me towards this product is its ingredients list. It is a blend of milk, honey and geranium oil. Milk is a good source of vitamin A. Honey is a good anti bacterial agent and contains antioxidants. Geranium oil treats acne. Overall it has a very strong ingredients list. The texture is very creamy and on applying you feel a cool sensation. It is very easy to blend and only a small amount is required. It becomes almost invisible on the face once it gets dry. After washing my skin, it always feels soft and supple. I guess it is because of the milk present in it. I have used it many times but this cream has never broken me out. My facial tan has slightly faded but not vanished completely. It fades fresh tan up to some extent but the old tan still remains. Moreover there is no bright look which we usually expect after using a face pack. My skin feels the same as before. Though it is not a superb product, I can say that it is an average face pack which may work for some people but has not helped me much. My search for a good product to remove my tan continues.
Pros Of Nature's Essence Lacto Tan Clear:
Cons Of Nature's Essence Lacto Tan Clear:
Diva Likes Rating:
3/5
Final Note:
This is an average face pack which didn't work wonders for me. It did remove my new tan but the old nasty tan remained as it is. I am still in search of a good anti tan pack. Do let me know if you have suggestions for any.
