Jovees Ayurvedic De-tan Scrub Review

My skin is tanning a bit due to summer and every product with the claims of anti-tan or de-tan is catching my attention. It was just 2 months back that I used to love my fair and even skin. So I decided to try everything I can to remove my tan. This compelled me to buy Jovees Ayurvedic De-tan Scrub which I am going to review today. Previously I used Aroma Magic Mineral Glow Scrub and it did not work on my stubborn blackheads. So I wanted a little coarse scrub with visible granules which works well with my blackheads. Jovees brand is well known in India and it has some really good products. Being ayurvedic, we can trust this brand for our skin care needs. That is why I decided to buy this scrub and since then I am in love with it.

Ingredients List:

Walnut shell powder, Wheatgerm oil, Black Plum extract, Carrot seed, Aloe Vera, Turmeric extract, Lemon peel extract, Rose petals extract.

Directions For Use:

Moisten face and neck. Apply all over the face and neck. Massage gently with fingertips for 2-3 minutes. Leave on for five minutes. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.

My Experience With Jovees Ayurvedic De-tan Scrub:

The scrub comes in a white tube packaging with a flip cap that shuts with a sound. The packaging is simple, sturdy and travel friendly. The texture of the scrub is creamy with visible granules. This is how I wanted my scrub to be like. The smell of this scrub is amazing. It smells very floral and I love it. But the smell will not last for long time. On massaging, the granules can be felt on the skin. It can be a harsh for people with sensitive skin but for my stubborn blackheads it worked very well. What attracted me towards this product is its tempting natural ingredients list. It contains black plum extracts. I have never used any facial product with black plum extracts. Black plum extracts contain good amount of anti-oxidants and it will work as a brightening essence. This scrub contains SPF. It gently exfoliates my blackheads and dead skin cells. Even my stubborn blackheads were gone in the first use itself. The tan is removed, my skin feels soft and it looks bright post usage. I can now say that I found my favorite scrub. I have used it only twice and can say it works great.

Final Note:

This is my favorite scrub till date. I have very stubborn blackheads and this cleans them off in just one wash without making my skin dry. It worked well with my tan too. I definitely recommend this scrub to all my friends.
