I absolutely adore colored eyeliners. Who doesn't? They make your eyes look adorned like jewels. One such product I came across recently is MUA Makeup Academy Jade Jewel Intense Glitter Eyeliner. Thanks Diva Likes for sending me this product. I have tried a few green colored liners before, but this shade of green is something new to me. I would have never picked this shade on my own because I would have definitely thought it's a tad too light for me. But the minute I swatched it on my hand, the only thought which came to me was, "I want more of these". I felt it is like a chocolate where you just cannot stop with one. My Experience With MUA Makeup Academy Jade Jewel Intense Glitter Eyeliner:

MUA Makeup Academy Jade Jewel Intense Glitter Eyeliner comes in a pencil like package, attached with a see through sharpener cap. The pencil is fully covered in green and resembles the same shade as that of the liner. The sharpener works pretty well but I have never been a fan of pencil eyeliners because of the sharpening feature. I feel it is a waste of time and product both. Even though the sharpener works well, the tip keeps breaking often and I have to keep sharpening over and over again. This is not because of the sharpener but it is because the product is too creamy causing breakage.

The advantage of the creamy texture is that it helps you with smooth application. This avoids tugging on your eyes too much. The Jade Jewel shade is a bright light green color with a lot of glitter particles in it. The pigmentation is quite light and only gives you the sheer finish with more than a few swipes. Once the opaque finish is achieved, it makes the yes look attractive and beautiful. It is perfect for evening party wear or just for a movie with friends.

Coming to the major disadvantage of this product, it is its staying power. Unfortunately, it stays for not more than 2 hours which I feel is quite bad. Had it stayed for long, this would have been one of the best purchases ever.

Cons Of MUA Makeup Academy Jade Jewel Intense Glitter Eyeliner:

• The liner is quite creamy leading to breakage.
• The staying power is only 2 hours.

Final Note:

It is a beautiful shade but I would have enjoyed it more if the staying power was good. I have fallen in love with the shade so much that I don't mind re-applying just to adorn my eyes.
