According to me, lip gloss is meant for topical application because of its not so opaque finish. But my perspective changed completely after I was sent the NYX Brush On Lip Gloss Red Lips in my Diva Likes beauty haul. This particular gloss gives such a sheer finish, that you don't even need a second coat. Surprised? So was I! Right from the shade to the applicator, everything was so different and unique about this product. Being my first NYX product, I can't tell you how excited I am to share my opinion with you guys. My Experience With NYX Brush On Lip Gloss Red Lips:

It comes in a see through slim plastic tube like bottle which is similar to Lotus Herbals Color Dew Nail Enamel bottle. I am not sure why but the cap of the package is twice longer than the bottle itself. The applicator is very different from all the other gloss applicators we generally see. It is not a sponge applicator but a brush applicator. The bristles are thin and short. The advantage of this applicator is that the product does not get absorbed by the sponge. When the second coat is applied, it does not rub off the first coat of gloss like how sponge applicators do. Also, the quantity picked up is great and makes it easier to apply within the lines.

The Red Lips shade is a beautiful bright tomato red color. It is creamy and glossy which I loved a lot. It does not contain any glitter or shimmer particles. Just one coat gives an opaque finish which is the best thing about this gloss. No amount of over coating is required. The gloss is gel based and so it does not bleed. Similarly it is not too thick and that makes it easy for application. It stays for around 3-4 hours after which it leaves a slight tint on the lips. This is a wonderful product and the shade is lovely. All the red lovers should surely get this gloss to get that diva look!

It's a great product and I absolutely love the shade. I like it even more because of its consistency and shade. There are several other shades in this range, which I'm sure you'll love. Give it a try and add a glamour to your lips.
