I consider the term "damage" to be synonymous with my hair. I have always wanted to have poker straight hair, as you always crave for what you don't possess. Due to my love for straight hair, I have done extreme damage to my hair. From blow drying to using flat irons to straightening creams, you name it and I have done it. It is only now that I started admiring my natural wavy hair. But it's late and the damage is already done. I have developed split ends and my hair looks lifeless and dull. So I am always in search of products that I hope will help in combating my damage. When I received Garnier Fructis Strengthening Shampoo Goodbye Damage from Diva Likes, I was more than happy because it claimed to repair damage in just 3 washes. I thought the claim was really tall but I don't see any harm in trying. I went ahead and tried it. Here I am to share my experience with the product through this review!

My Experience With Garnier Fructis Strengthening Shampoo Goodbye Damage:
The shampoo comes in a bright orange bottle with green detailing. It has a flip flop cap which is quite tight and will prevent product leakage. The packaging is completely travel friendly. I personally like the bright orange color as it looks very eye catching. The shampoo is translucent white in color. The consistency is neither too runny nor too creamy. It is somewhere in between. The aroma is exactly like its name - very fruity. I love the aroma whenever I use this shampoo because the smell is delicious and yummy.
It does not create much lather. If I have oiled my hair, then I need a lot of shampoo and at least use it twice to get rid of the oil. But it's easy to rinse. Once done, it made my hair very rough and dry. I missed using the conditioner and may be that would have helped. It did not give any shine to my hair. Though I have bouncy hair, it made it more bouncy and gave vitality to it. I have been using it regularly and agree that it has made my tips appear a little healthy. It does not make my hair soft and smooth but my tips have been appearing little healthy and the split ends also seem to be repaired. I guess if I use it with the complete range, it will help me in combating the damage up to some extent. But what I don't like about this shampoo is that it makes hair look so dry and lifeless.
Pros Of Garnier Fructis Strengthening Shampoo Goodbye Damage:
Cons Of Garnier Fructis Strengthening Shampoo Goodbye Damage:
Diva Likes Rating:
3/5
Final Note:
I would say that this is an average shampoo. It helps in combating the damage up to some extent when used regularly. But it makes my hair rough and dry. It does not provide any shine to the hair. So maybe this bottle will be my first and last. I will surely not recommend it to people with dry hair.
