Hello everyone! I have been dying to review this nail paint for a long time but couldn't take out time. Maybelline is one brand which never fails to impress beauty lovers and with the range of glitter mania they have actually taken the glam quotient of nail paints to another level. I have already mentioned in my previous review that I drool over nail paints and textures. From bright corals and neon to neutrals, I love everything on my nails. I never leave a chance to experiment with them. The much raved glitter mania shades impressed everyone and that's why I bought a few shades before they are out of stock. Now let's talk about this beauty.

My Experience With Maybelline Color Show Glitter Mania Starry Nights (603):

Let me start with the packaging. The nail color comes in a cylindrical glass bottle with a black cap that has the shade name and number inscribed on it. The shade Starry Nights is a gorgeous matte black loaded with fine silvery shimmer flecks. The brush is similar to the color show range which is good.

The consistency of the nail color is a bit thick which I guess is due to the overloaded shimmers. The varnish requires two coats to be completely opaque which is a good color payoff. It dries within 4-5 minutes on my nails. The texture of the nail polish post drying is sand textured gritty matte finish with lots of shimmers. Though the texture is gritty, it doesn't interfere with the clothes or any other linen.

The color is very glamorous on its own and is absolutely a rocking shade that goes with any knock-out outfit. The only issue I face is removing the color from my nails. It takes long time to remove them and my hands are all messed up with glitters. What I have observed is that most of the glitter mania shades have an amazing staying power. It stayed on my nails for 11 days without a single bit of chipping. I actually haven't come across such an amazing thing ever. Moreover it also prevents the nails from being easily broken. Given its price the nail paint is absolutely stunning.

Final Note:

For a long time I wanted to get my hands on the sand textured nail polishes but they were so expensive that I always backed off before buying. Then suddenly the glitter mania series were launched and I just couldn't resist myself to buy them. Each and every shade of the series is gorgeous on its own and like they say, you can't just have one! I wish Maybelline launches some other variants of color show range that are already available in the market of USA.
