Shower is an important part of our daily life and gives a kick start to our day. Hence it is very important to use the right shower gel to make the experience wonderful. A proper shower gel can make us feel energetic, which in turn, makes our day brighter. Having tried many fragrances at Bath & Body Works, this time I picked up my first shower gel from Sweet Pea fragrance. Though the 3 fl oz. bottle is priced at $5, I got them in an offer of buy 3 and get 2 free, which I feel is a good deal. I have finished this entire bottle now and thought I should let you know if this shower gel is good or bad. So, why the delay?

My Experience With Bath & Body Works Sweet Pea Shea Enriched Shower Gel:

Bath & Body Works Sweet Pea Shea Enriched Shower Gel comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a colorful packaging in the front. It has a pink colored press top which helps to extract the right amount of shower gel. It is travel friendly and there is no problem of leakage at all. The main reason I bought this shower gel was its name Sweet Pea. I love aromatic shower gels and expected this to be quite aromatic given its wonderful fragrance notes. But I was disappointed with its low key fragrance. It was minimal. The shower gel looks transparent with a slight hint of pink. It is a bit thick in consistency and lathers really well. Only small quantity is sufficient for the entire body wash.

The shower gel contains aloe vera, vitamin E and shea butter which are all good for skin. The major con of this product is, it gives a slippery feeling and requires a lot of water to wash off. Also, the aroma doesn't stay once you wash, as it is not a strong fragrance at all. On the bright side, it moisturizes well and is perfect for dry skin people. I am sure it will be a savior in winters. Though I would not purchase it again, you can try it if you are interested in minimal and decent fragrances.

Final Note:

If you like minimal fragrance, then you can give this a try. I personally enjoy more aromatic shower gels and this one turned out to be just okay for me. Moreover, it needs a lot of water to wash off and I hate that slippery feeling it gives. I would not buy this again.
