There is a famous quote by Audrey Hepburn which says "The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides."
Every girl requires eye shadow to highlight her beautiful eyes but now-a-days it's very difficult to get an eye shadow which has good pigmentation as well as long staying power. Over the recent years, I bought various eye shadows/palattes which have average color pay off and staying power. But cosmetics are so dear to me that I really don't feel like discarding them at all. So I thought of utilizing all of them with the help of an eye primer. Now, the quality of eye primer is again another issue along with the heavy price tag it comes with. So I decided to make one for myself.
Benefits Of Eye Primer:
It helps in bringing out the color of the eye shadow and keeps it intact for a longer time. It is also useful for creating a crease free look on the eyes.
Ingredients Required:
Procedure:
Melt Vaseline over the gas/candle.
In an empty container, add the melted Vaseline, liquid foundation and cornstarch. Quickly mix it with the help of a Q-TIP.
Tada! Your eye primer is ready!
After applying the eye primer over your lids, let it settle for few minutes and then apply the eye shadow.

- Vaseline / Chapstick / Petroleum Jelly - 1-2 tablespoons
- Liquid Foundation / BB Cream / CC Cream. (The shade must match your skin tone) - One and half tablespoons.
- Cornstartch / Cornflour - 1 tablespoon.
- An empty container for storing it. (Make sure it is clean and sterilized).
Procedure:
Melt Vaseline over the gas/candle.
In an empty container, add the melted Vaseline, liquid foundation and cornstarch. Quickly mix it with the help of a Q-TIP.
Tada! Your eye primer is ready!
