If I rewind back to my childhood days, the only lip balm I knew was Vaseline and all of us had used that little cute pot. With the cosmetic industry emerging so lavishly, we have so many options today for a single product. But among the bunch of chemicals, we often require the herbal products that would be safer for our skin in the long term. One such beautiful herbal product is from the brand Himalaya Herbals. I have already used this one before so I thought of penning down my review after long usage of this product. Let's see how it fared with me.
About Himalaya Herbals Lip Balm:
This lip balm nourishes, softens and protects. Enriched with wheat germ oil, a rich source of vitamin E, Himalaya Herbals lip balm nourishes and softens your lips. It also contains Carrot seed oil, a natural sunscreen, to protect your lips from the harsh UV rays of the sun.
Price:
28 INR for 10 g
Shelf Life:
3 years
Ingredients List:
Directions For Use:
Apply on lips as and when needed.
My Experience With Himalaya Herbals Lip Balm:
The lip balm comes in a little white tube with a green screw cap. I have travelled numerous times with the tube and so far it was always travel friendly. The mouth of the tube is slightly slanted for precise application on lips. The color of the lip balm is totally sheer and there is no hint of color at all. It is not at all heavy on lips as well. The texture is smooth and extremely creamy. The ingredients list made me super happy as I am very much fond of chemical free products.
Do not expect cured lips with first application itself. Only prolonged wear makes the lips soft, supple and nourished. It is one of those effective lip balms you require in the chilly winter nights. The lip balm moisturizes the lips and you wake up with kissable soft lips. It doesn't have SPF, so don't dare to wear to it under the sun but this can be worn under SPF lipsticks. This lip balm is one of my favorite since time immemorial. It comes with an inexpensive price tag and it is a must have in your wallet.
Pros Of Himalaya Herbals Lip Balm:
Cons Of Himalaya Herbals Lip Balm:
Diva Likes Rating:
4/5
Final Note:
My lip balm stash for winter is absolutely complete and I can happily flaunt my nourished and enriched lips. This lip balm is thoroughly herbal and you would love to use it. In fact, this is the best option if I forget my daily use lip balm somewhere. Therefore, I shall recommend this one to all of you.
