Baby lips are just not lip balms, they are an addiction by all means. I just can't remember when I left home without this little beauty in my bag. Maybelline has been really innovative with their products; be it the Colossal series or the Baby Lips range. Electro Pop is one of the latest addition to their range of lip balms. Ever since the baby lips were introduced in the market, I knew I had to try this. No other lip balm till date has been as impressive as this one and this just gets better and better. I once thought of trying out the Chapstick or the lip balm from Burt's Bees but couldn't try it due to my overwhelming love for baby lips. So here I am today with the latest version of baby lips – Fierce N Tangy flavor from the electro pop range. Read on to find out more about the lip balm.

Ingredients List:
Directions For Use:
Apply in the center of your upper lip to the outer edges, following the contours of your mouth. Then glide across the entire bottom lip. Can be worn under lip color.
My Experience With Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Pop Fierce N Tangy:
The packaging is very similar to the old baby lips versions where the twist up balm was enclosed in a cardboard with flashy electro bright packing. The lip balm has a plastic twist-up body with a long transparent cap. The packaging is light-weight, but you need to be careful while closing the cap because the stick doesn't get fully rolled in and there are high chances of tampering the lip balm. The shade fierce n tangy is a bright yellow colored stick in the tube that pretty much reminds of the popsicles I used to have in childhood days. It has a faint flavor of lemon smell to it which is very refreshing especially for summer.
As a swatch, it is complete transparent one and doesn't impart any tint or color to your lips. There is only a faint touch of shine and gloss once you slather it on the lips. Those who want a tint for their pigmented lips will be highly disappointed. The lip balm is enriched with shea butter and vitamins for the betterment of the chapped dry lips. The texture of the lip balm is very moisturizing although it is not as thick as the previous versions. A single or double swipe is enough for the lips to be moisturized. During summer, the dry lip problems are mineralized and the thin layer of lip balm is enough to keep your lips moisturized for long. However, the lip balm would not be a good choice for winter months. It keeps the lips well hydrated for a good two hours or so.
Coming to the disastrous part of the product, it doesn't have SPF. A summer lip balm without SPF is literally nothing and hence as a whole I was disappointed. All in all, there is nothing 'electro' about the product. It is just a simple lip balm with moisturizing qualities without any SPF.
Pros Of Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Pop Fierce N Tangy:
Cons Of Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Pop Fierce N Tangy:
Diva Likes Rating:
4/5
Final Note:
This electro pop lip balm, when judged alone, would fare well as an individual product, but baby lips have better products in the same price range. Moreover, SPF is an indispensable content and this one lacks it. For touch ups under lipsticks and decent glossy finish, it is a great lip balm.
