My Experience With Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti Unmellow Yellow 809:
Packaging: The nail color comes in a transparent cylindrical glass bottle with a black screw cap. The packaging is such that you can easily travel with no hassle and the petite bottle fits anywhere. All in all, a simple yet attractive packaging.
Shade: Unmellow yellow is a clear base packed with macro and medium black hexes, light mint green hexes, and micro black dots. The graffiti looks magnificent on deep colors like magenta, coral pink and orange, sky blue, fuchsia, and red. I choose the lavender color from the Color Show series which is the Lavender Lies 217 shade. Be it a fun day out or a rocking evening party, the graffiti can be used with anything fancy. Needless to say, I am in love with it.
Texture: The consistency is good, which is neither runny nor thick and helps applying over the nail coating easily. It has a semi-gloss finish due to the hexes present, but the glossy or gel finish can be achieved with a desired top coat.
Applicator Brush: The brush is commendable given that it neatly and uniformly spreads the hexes and microdots. It doesn't clump and light strokes help in achieving the look you want. Moreover, the bristles are very soft as well.
Pigmentation: The pigmentation is good as two swipes are enough to have even hexes and microdots on your nails. On the first swipe, you get a scanty amount so if you don't want too much graffiti art you can stop with the first coating. Therefore, it is quite flexible and can be controlled easily.
Staying Power: All the nail art series of Maybelline has praiseworthy staying power and this one is no exception. It stayed on my nails around 6 days without any top coat. All I can complain about is the removal procedure which takes time and labor, then again it cannot be considered much of a disadvantage as far the performance of the product is concerned.
