Slight winter chills have already started and I could feel my skin and lips require extra moisture. Finally, it is time to take out all the pretty lip balms and moisturizers to pamper the skin and lips to adjust to the changing weather. I was sent the Nivea Vitamin Shake Cranberry & Raspberry Lip Balm in my last haul and was waiting for an appropriate time to use it. Nivea lip balms are quite good for hydrating and preventing the dryness and a fruity touch to it adds a bit of flavor too. Personally, I am quite a fan of fruity, tangy lip balms and always make it a point to use them whenever required. So let us see how this lip balm fared with my dry chapped lips.

My Experience With Nivea Vitamin Shake Cranberry & Raspberry Lip Balm:
The packaging is very simple yet effective. It comes with a twist-up stick packaging with a white and pink body. It is extremely light weight but sturdy enough to travel with. Overall, a nice and impressive packaging for a daily lip balm. The stick has the marble blend of red and baby pink which reminds me of the twist up ice cream sticks I was obsessed during my childhood. The smell of this lip balm is a blend of cranberry and raspberry. The aroma isn't very overwhelming, in fact, it is extremely sweet and loving. This is one of the best features of the lip balm.
The lip balm is creamy and hydrating. It doesn't feel heavy on the lips no matter how much I slather it. It also doesn't form any whitish layer which is quite good. Although the stick is colored, the lip balm is completely transparent on application and forms a nice creamy layer. It gives a nice hydrating layer to the lips. The Nivea Vitamin Shake is nonsticky and can also be applied underneath any lip color or lip liner as well. It protects the lips from dry flakes and prevents the dryness for around 4-5 hours after application. It takes quite some time to heal the already dried lips but works really well when applied before sleep. You would wake up with nice soft and supple lips the next morning.
Nivea Vitamin Shake Cranberry & Raspberry Lip Balm claims to have vitamins C and E and pro-vitamin B5 which is extremely good for the lips. It not only protects the lips but also nourishes them as well. The only thing lacking is the SPF without which you can't use it during the day time. It stays on my lips for around 3-4 hours with slight munching and drinks but it cannot survive heavy meals at all.
Pros Of Nivea Vitamin Shake Cranberry & Raspberry Lip Balm:
Cons Of Nivea Vitamin Shake Cranberry & Raspberry Lip Balm:
Diva Likes Rating:
4/5
Final Note:
This is a nice lip balm for night use or when you want decent moisturization for the lips. The main function is to protect the lips from drying and the healing properties are slightly low. I would recommend it if you have normal lips which don't get chapped easily.
