Basicare Angled Eyeshadow Brush Review

It is the end of 2015 and time to remember the wonderful memories of the time left behind. For me, it has been a busy year with one event after the other but the most memorable was the Goa tour. Coming to today's post, it is a review of an eyeshadow brush. Eye makeup brushes are something I can't live without and I love that it can be used for so many purposes. When I picked up the Basicare Angled Eyeshadow Brush, I literally had no expectations from it. However, it turned out even better. Read on to know more about it.

About Basicare Angled Eyeshadow Brush:

This fantastic product from Basicare is made of nylon fibers and is designed to get the best control while applying eye shadow over your eyes. The bristles are crafted at a slight angle for precise application. It is, therefore, easy for everyone to use the brush.

Directions For Use:

With the flat side up, use a back-and-forth fanning motion to apply, blend or contour your favorite eye colors. Care - Gently wash the brush in mild soap water. Rinse thoroughly and pat on a dry towel for excess water and allow it to dry naturally.

My Experience With Basicare Angled Eyeshadow Brush:

The brush comes in a hard plastic pack but it cannot be reused once it is cut. There is no pouch or travel bag given, so you have to use your own. I didn't like the packaging because every single brush I bought from other brands came with a little pouch. The brush has a long, sleek and smooth matte black handle. By looks, the brush is really nice. The handle of the brush is quite sturdy and durable for traveling purposes.

The bristles are made of hygienic nylon fibers as claimed by the brand and are brownish-bronze in color. They are closely packed but tapered on top with an angled shaped. The overall shape of the brush is slightly slender than any other angled eyeshadow brush I have seen. The shape is perfect for blending. The bristles are very soft and smooth which doesn't poke the sensitive eye area at all. Be it the crease, brow bone or outer corner – the blending is very good with the brush. The fluffiness of the brush doesn't allow to apply the eye shadow as it will cause a lot of fallouts. Moreover, you can't blend pigments very smoothly unless it adheres well to the eyelids. Cream eyeshadows and crayon eyeshadows work extremely well with this brush.

The brush can also be used for applying highlighter on the nose or cheekbones. The bristles spread the shimmers lightly without looking very gaudy. The size of the brush is good for medium to big eyes but for small hooded eyes you can only use it for blending the while eyelid or apply concealer with it. Cleaning the brush is extremely easy. One of the best thing I have noticed is that the bristles get cleaned easily with any baby shampoo and so far it has never shed a single bristle. Overall, this is a good eyeshadow brush for its price.

Final Note:

The brush is really good for blending purposes. I wouldn't call this a must-have in your kitty but you can use the brush in various ways according to your comfort. It has a really good quality for the price it comes for.
