We apply so much makeup on the face but while dressing up for a big occasion, we hardly pay attention to the other exposed parts of the body like legs, hands, etc. Very recently I planned to wear an LBD for a friend's birthday and I shaved my hands and legs just a few hours before the dress up. The cold weather dried up my skin quickly, making it look dull, scratchy and lifeless. For occasions like these, I prefer my HG The Body Shop Honey Bronze Shimmering Dry Oil. But I was running out of it and this beauty doesn't come cheap at all. Suddenly, I remembered a trick I learned from a friend of mine and decided to try it. I made my own version of Body Illuminator and it worked brilliantly! Read on to find out more about it.
Things Needed:
Procedure:
In an empty container, mix the moisturizer and foundation. You can either mix it in equal parts or in whichever ratio you prefer. The more foundation you mix, the better will be the skin tone and if your foundation is a bit darker, mix the moisturizer to lighten it. You can also mix bronzing liquid if you want.
With the help of a brush, dust some highlighter into the mixture. Use a brush for highlighter or shimmer bricks to fine mill the powder for mixing.
Your body illuminator is now ready. Use it on your hands and legs to have that gorgeous glow for any occasion and brighten up the dull skin.
