It's haul time for me from Diva Likes! With Christmas and New Year spirit, I received my beauty box. This time, there is a lot of makeup and I am so happy with that. The courier boy seemed like Santa to me minus the beard and clothes when he arrived with the haul parcel. It would be raining reviews here soon and I am starting with it today. Today I am going to review Blue Heaven Soft Kajal Eye Liner. I haven't used much of Blue Heaven products in the past. They make some really affordable makeup and their range is also vast. I am eyeing their lipsticks which are widely available online in combos. Coming to the kajal, it is a staple for me. I cannot imagine myself leaving the house without it. Not only me, it's almost a necessity for every Indian girl. I was happy to find Blue Heaven Soft Kajal Eye Liner in my haul because I knew it's going to get used up definitely. Let's proceed with the review of Blue Heaven Soft Kajal Eye Liner.
About Blue Heaven Soft Kajal Eye Liner:
Blue Heaven Soft Kajal Eye Liner provides the desired intense lines with an even smooth application.
Long Lasting.
Extra Black.
Smudge-proof.
Waterproof.
Price:
125 INR for 0.31 g
Shelf Life:
3 years
Ingredients List:
Not mentioned.
Directions For Use:
Starting from the inner corner of the eye, mark a neat stroke on the upper lid extending outwards.
Repeat the same for lower lid.
My Experience With Blue Heaven Soft Kajal Eye Liner:
Blue Heaven Soft Kajal Eye Liner comes in a blue and black carton which has all the details of the product. The kajal inside the carton is in a retractable pen form. It's almost similar to the Lakme Eyeconic range. The kajal has a small detachable sharpener attached on the end of the pencil. The cap shuts tightly. I like the retractable pen format of kohl because it leads to less product wastage compared to the pencil form. The sharpener attached at the end is fine as it sharpens the tip of the kajal without breaking it. I like this concept of providing sharpener at the end. Even the high-end brands haven't come up with this idea as yet. Overall the packaging is very good and there are no issues with that.
The kajal looks like a jet black kajal in the pencil but when swiped it's not that black. You need to swipe it 2-3 times to get the desired black shade. But the pigmentation is buildable. Coming to the texture of the kajal, it is not very creamy and soft. It tugs a bit when you keep swiping to show up on the waterline. I was expecting the staying power to be more but it disappointed me. It stays put for maximum 2 hours and after that starts fading. This makes it a totally bad choice for the upper lids.
Blue Heaven Soft Kajal Eye Liner claims to be smudge proof and water proof which is not true. It comes off easily and smudges with a little rubbing. One thing I was happy with was that it did not irritate my eyes. This did not give me watery eyes at all which is a pretty good thing for a lesser known brand. Overall, I would rate it as an average kajal.
Pros Of Blue Heaven Soft Kajal Eye Liner:
Cons Of Blue Heaven Soft Kajal Eye Liner:
Diva Likes Rating:
2/5
Final Note:
I am not completely satisfied with the performance of Blue Heaven Soft Kajal Eye Liner. Most of its claims are all false and it does not live up to them. I would suggest you all throw in few more bucks and get yourself a good kohl instead of this.
