Hello, everyone! Hope all of you are doing great. I had not been doing DIY posts for quite a long time and to match up with my irregularity I will be posting 4 super easy and useful DIY recipes in the upcoming days. Today I am going to show you how to make a vitamin E facial serum at home with ingredients that are easily available at home. We all know the beauty benefits of a facial serum. Serums contain lots of vitamins and anti-aging ingredients that penetrate deep within the skin more than a moisturizer. The serums available in the market are a bit on the expensive side. So I will be showing you an affordable way out. Let's go ahead and start making our own facial serum.
Things Needed & Their Benefits:
Procedure:
Take 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel in a clean bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of rose water to it. Mix it up well to form a serum like consistency. Break open one or two vitamin E capsules into the mixture. I suggest Evion 400 mg capsules. Add a small teaspoon of almond oil to it.
Mix up everything nicely. Store the serum in an empty and clean bottle.
Your homemade moisturizing and anti aging serum is ready and you can use it every night after cleansing your face. Don't make it in bulk quantity. I would suggest preparing it for one week use because in that case the serum will remain fresh.
So grab all the ingredients and start making your own serum. You can use coconut oil or olive oil in place of almond oil in case you are allergic to it. Use it and you will get to see the benefits.

Things Needed & Their Benefits:
- Aloe Vera Gel: Aloe vera is a magical gel and most of us are aware of its benefits. It helps in a lot of beauty concerns like sunburn, rashes, burns and more. Moreover, the gel contains lots of vitamins that slow down the aging process and help you in achieving glowing skin.
- Rose Water: Rose water is used as a natural skin toner. It refines your pores, instantly freshens you and leaves you smelling like roses. It's widely used in place of water for making face packs.
- Almond Oil: Almond oil is packed with lots of fatty acids and vitamins which are very good for our skin and hair. It promises you flawless skin when used regularly as a massage oil. It also diminishes dark circles.
- Vitamin E: Vitamin E can be used from the capsule or from readily available Vitamin E oils. Many creams and serums contain Vitamin E. It's very good for treating dryness, wrinkles and also lightens marks and scars.
