I crave for lip balms and who doesn't like a lip balm anyway? My lips are so dry that I cannot live without a lip balm. I stock a variety of lip balms in my makeup box. I keep trying different lip balms from different brands. I am so obsessed that I don't even wait for my lip balms to get over before buying new ones. I was on cloud 9 when I received a cute little e.l.f lip balm tint in my recent haul sent by Lavanya. I couldn't control my urge and immediately applied it. Let's see how good it is.

Directions For Use:
Smooth onto bare lips with your finger as often as desired. Can be worn under lip gloss or mixed into lipstick.
My Experience With e.l.f Lip Balm Tint Grapefruit:
Packaging: The lip balm comes in a cardboard packaging keeping the jar upside down. It is a cute little plastic jar with a white screw lid. The brand name is written on top of a lid with silver and it looks very classy to me. It is travel-friendly and can be easily slipped into jeans pocket or bag.
Shade: The shade name, which is grapefruit, is written on a sticker pasted on the sides of the jar. The color looks quite dark in the jar but as the lip balm claims that it provides sheer hydrating color to the lips, I surely agree to that. It does give a beautiful flush of color to lips. It gives a luminous sheer and glossy finish.
Fragrance: I simply love the fragrance. It has got a sugary vanilla fragrance which is so delicious. On sniffing, I just feel transported into a different world altogether. Sometimes I just smell it while I am walking around in the house, it's that yummy. It's even yummier than vanilla. I feel like eating it but sadly I cannot do that. Well, I am surprised why there is no vanilla scent in the ingredients list.
Texture: The texture of the lip balm is very smooth and creamy. It applies evenly on the lips and provides a glossy finish in just one application.
Formula: The formula is sticky to an extent because of the presence of rice wax may be but it doesn't feel heavy on the lips. The lips don't even stick together while talking just because it's sticky. It looks thick in the container but the fingers warm it up and then it applies into a sheer finish.
Staying Power: This lip balm stayed on me for about 2 hours while drinking or eating. It's the same with every lip balm of mine. The color fades after 2 hours but the moisturisation remains intact. It provides perfect hydration and moisturisation. I apply it in the night and I can feel the smoothness and moisturization in the morning as well sans the color. It tends to migrate but I have no complaints because it's a lip balm and is not made to be highly pigmented.

It's a beautiful smelling lip balm. I adore this lip balm. It comes in handy in cases of emergency when you don't have time to apply your lipstick. It gives a perfect color with a sheen and is travel-friendly. It can also be applied underneath your lipstick or lip gloss.

The tint could have been better is what I feel.
