Hello, beautiful ladies! So finally it's that time of the year where you feel the happiness in the air. After enjoying the Christmas, most of us must have already planned for the new year as well. The best part about the new year is going all out with makeup which we otherwise wouldn't bother to wear on normal days. I have tried to come up with a simple makeup look for the new year party which is not at all time consuming and doesn't involve the use of makeup brushes. I have gone with green bold eyes and subtle pink lips. Herein below are the step by step details, I hope you all like it.

Steps Involved:
After moisturizing my face, I primed my face with L'Oreal Base Magique Transforming Smoothening Primer and applied MUA Primer on my lips as well so that they are well hydrated when we later apply the lipstick.
I wanted to do the eye makeup first, so I applied the same L'Oreal Primer on my eyelids which I used for the face. After that, I concealed the dark circles and eyelids using the Kiss Beauty Contour and Correct Palette. I set the eyelids with the MUA Translucent Powder since we are working with darker colors for the eyes; we need a smooth base for colors to show.
Next, I took my Avon Glimmersticks Eyeliner Pencil Green and applied it all over my eyelids as my base. You can take a black kajal pencil as well for this look.
I didn't want to mess up with too many colors, so I took the peaches color from the L'Oreal Eyeshadow Quad Midnight Rose and blend it in my crease to avoid any harsh lines.
Taking a deep green color from my Oriflame Soft n Glam Duo Eyeshadow Deep Green, I patted directly on the eyelids where I have used the Avon Green Eyeliner Pencil. I used the powder eyeshadow on top to avoid any creasing which is quite natural when you work with a creamy eyeshadow base. Plus, it gave a nice pop of color to the eyes as well.
Next, I used the same peaches color from the L'Oreal Eyeshadow Quad to blend everything together.
Continuing with the eye makeup, I applied the same Avon Kajal to my upper and lower waterline and lashline as well. I didn't use the powder green eyeshadow on the lower lashline, as I wanted the lashline to be perfect and not smokey.
Moving further with the face makeup, I applied the MAC Studio Finish Liquid Foundation and then highlighted my under eye areas, bridge of the nose and chin with Oriflame The One Concealer. I then set everything with Maybelline Fit Me Compact Powder.
I didn't want too much contouring going on with my face, hence I didn't go overboard with the contouring. I took my Kiss Beauty Contour and Correct Palette, applied it to the hollows of my cheeks and blend it well with my fingers.
I used two of the blushes; one is Maybelline Dream Creamy Blush, applied it on the cheeks and topped it with the Sivanna Powder Blush. I used the powder blush because Maybelline Creamy Blush doesn't show up well.
Next, I used highlighter which is Gina Glam (Thai brand) to the highest points of my cheeks, bridge of the nose, cupid's bow, little on forehead and chin.
After that, I applied a single coat of Maybelline Magnum Barbie Mascara to the eyelashes as I wanted to wear falsies, so I put on my Ardell False Eyelashes using Ardell Clear Strip Adhesive and drew a very thin line of liner with the Bobbi Brown Blackest Black Ink Pen on the upper lashline to hide the lash glue or lash band. I could have tried the winged eye look but since these lashes are so over dramatic, I stick to the normal eyes. Next, I used the Colorbar Eyebrow Pencil just to fill in the gaps here and there as I don't like to draw the eyebrows as I feel it gives a very unnatural look.
Now finishing up the look, I took Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Color Passion Fruit as my lipstick for the look. Since the focus is on the eyes, I used a nude color for the lips to balance out the whole look.
Lastly, I sprayed the Elf Mist Setting Spray to set the makeup and voila! The look is ready.
This was my first very attempt to try the eye makeup, hope you all like it! Happy New Year in advance!
