Hello, everyone. Hope you all are in the pink of health. I had already reviewed the previous variants of Island Kiss Lip Moisturizers and really loved the way they look on the lips. These are completely organic and come in such catchy packaging that you simply can't resist just one. Along with 3 variants, they added two more in the range and I will be reviewing the "Flamingo Pink and Peonies" variant today. This is the perfect pick for subtle college days and no makeup looks. So here is my detailed review on the same.
About Island Kiss Flamingo Pink and Peonies Lip Moisturiser Stain:
From the 2016 winter colecao of lip stains emerges a spirited blend of sour citrus and pink peonies. Messing around with boats 'n' surfers always the center of attention it brings out the carnival inside of you. The scent of a young heart that is wild and free with island excess and feverish drumming. Fresh pink peonies pay a modern homage to the romantic years of islanders dancing to calypso beats at breezy beachside carnivals. The fragrance starts with the aroma of a margarita cocktail complete with a lime wedge, salt on the brim and frosty ice. Dancing flamingos accentuate the contrasted impression of the outdoorsy world of Miami Beach colliding with that of a fifties pinup's frilly boudoir.

My Experience With Island Kiss Flamingo Pink and Peonies Lip Moisturiser Stain:
The packaging has every kind of quirk and sass to it and you would simply love it. Island Kiss Flamingo Pink and Peonies Lip Moisturiser Stain comes in a cardboard box with a vintage touch to it. The box has every information penned down in a beautiful way that you wouldn't want to dispose. The Lip Moisturiser comes in a small and compact tube with a coral pink cap. The mouth of the tube has a slanted tip for precise application and it applies without smearing all over. The packaging is, thus, light weight, efficient, travel-friendly and perfect for a lip stain.
Since I have used the previous variants, I was well aware of the texture. There is a slight improvement and I really liked it. The texture is slightly thicker, instead of being oily and slimy. The texture resembles a translucent cream but the moment you apply on the lips, it warms up and gives a nourishing and hydrating touch with a stain on the lips. The texture is hydrating enough and it is due to the presence of natural ingredients like tropical kokum and avocado butter, organic beeswax, stevia, organic carrot seed oil, pure castor oil, rich vitamin e oil, organic macadamia nut oil, citrus essential oil, peony essential oil natural organic color.
The formulation is equally impressive and it is just not like any other lip balms or lip stains in the market. It is completely organic, vegetarian and free from petroleum, sulphates and is non-toxic. This is why it nourishes and soothes the lips without harming any further. It looks just like a gloss or lip balm and is perfect for the days you don't want too much product. The product is best for college students who would simply prefer a tint on the lips. Despite being glossy, it doesn't bleed or feather on the lips at all. It has various skin-softening, soothing, moisturizing, and protective properties along with SPF 15 to protect from the harmful rays of the sun.
Coming to the variant, Flamingo Pink and Peonies is the prettiest name I have heard of. The tint resembles that of a peachy pink and translates beautifully on my lips. The tint is not strong enough to hide heavy pigmentation but somehow the color gives me very flushed lips and looks extremely natural. It looks like I have naturally tinted lips! The scent of the product is sweet and works really well for me.
The staying power is around 2-3 hours and the color stays pretty well. It can't survive heavy meals or continuous munching and you have to reapply it to keep up the flushed natural look. Although I do love the product to the core, I feel it is slightly priced for a lip tint.
Pros Of Island Kiss Flamingo Pink and Peonies Lip Moisturiser Stain:
Cons Of Island Kiss Flamingo Pink and Peonies Lip Moisturiser Stain:
Diva Likes Rating:
4.5/5
Final Note:
Among the two newly launched variants, Flamingo Pink and Peonies is my favorite. I have been wearing this to college and really like the formulation. The texture is improved and better and you would surely want to grab this one.
