I sometimes don't feel like eating curd as it is. That is when I try making curd stew which can be prepared in few minutes and I too can have curd in a different form instead of the usual way.
Ingredients:
Curd - 1 cup
Water - Half cup
Onions - 1 (Finely chopped)
Green Chillies - 3 (Finely chopped)
Red Chilli Powder - Half tablespoon
Mustard Seeds/Rai - Half table spoon
Urad Dal - 1 table spoon
Cumin Seeds – Half table spoon
Curry Leaves - 6
Turmeric Powder - Half tablespoon
Salt - To taste
Oil - 2 tablespoon
Coriander Leaves - Half bunch
Preparation:
Take curd in a bowl and add water to it. Also add salt and red chilli powder and combine. Keep it aside.
Take a pan to heat and add oil to it.
Add mustard seeds, urad dal and cumin seeds. Wait till they pop and add curry leaves, green chillies and onions.
Fry till onions turn light brown in colour.
Add turmeric powder and coriander leaves and mix well.
Take off from heat and add this to the curd mixture which was kept aside.
Mix well and the curd stew is ready for consumption.
Serving Options:
Enjoy the curd stew with rice.
