Whenever we cook dal using pressure cooker method, there are times it doesn't get cooked well as the dal still looks hard and doesn't soften. To avoid this, we need to add a tablespoon of oil to the dal and mix it well with hand before we keep it in the pressure cooker to cook. This way the dal gets cooked quickly. This is applicable for all kinds of dal like toor dal,moong dal etc.
