Post". She always had a passion for cooking right from my school days, but her real experiments started after marriage. She is here to share her very special dish 'Chennai Chicken Masala'. Lets check it out.
Ingredients:
Chicken - 250 grams(Skin out, cleaned and chopped)
Tomatoes - 1(chopped)
Onion - 2(chopped)
Green chilies- 2(slit)
Ginger garlic paste - 25 grams
Oil - 2 tablespoons
Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
Sambar powder - 2 tablespoons
Salt - As per taste
Lemon juice - Half tablespoon
Preparation:
In a shallow pan, heat oil .
Add onions and green chilies and cook till it becomes translucent.
Now, add tomatoes and cook till it becomes mushy.
Add ginger garlic paste and cook till raw smell goes away.
Add chicken, sambar powder, turmeric powder, salt and little water.
Cover it with a lid and cook till the chicken pieces become tender.
Squeeze in lemon juice and cook in low flame till the oil separates out from the gravy.
Serving Options:
Serve hot with steamed rice or chapathi.
