Charanya well known as Jillu from Jiya's Delicacy is our third guest contributor in "Be My Guest With A Guest Post". She is a homemaker and mother of a one and half year baby girl. Her passion and interest in cooking is because of 3 MOM's(Grand Mom, her Mom and her Mother-In-Law). Though she has started cooking in childhood, she started full-pledged cooking after marriage and loves to try different dishes. Here she presents to us one such creation colocasia/cheppangizhangu biscuit fry.

Ingredients:

Colocasia / Cheppangizhangu - 500 gms
Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Salt - As per taste
Besan flour - 1 cup
Oil - To fry

Preparation:

Boil Colocasia/Cheppangizhangu separately. Once done peel it off.
Cut them into round thin pieces.
Marinate the pieces with chilly powder and salt.
Then add besan flour and coat them well.
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the mixed colocasia/cheppangizhangu.
Once fried, it is ready to be served.

Serving Options:

It's a very good starter. It can also be served with rice.
