Offlate, I was bugged up making same old recipes at home. So one day, I wanted to try something new which I never made. Thats how I ended up with this recipe. Brought the ground chicken from market and added my own ingredients and made this starter. I was apprehensive as to how its gonna turn out but it came out as a pleasant surprise. It tasted awesome. So here I am sharing one of my new kitchen experiment. Let me know what you feel about this dish.
Ingredients:
Chicken Keema/Ground Chicken - 250 grams
Red Chilli powder - 1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder - Half tablespoon
Pepper powder - 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Salt - As per taste
Egg Yolk - 1 beaten egg
Cornflour - 3 tablespoons
Oil - To fry
Preparation:
Clean the chicken keema with water and take it into a bowl.
Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, lemon juice, egg yolk and cornflour.
Mix it well and allow it to stay for sometime, say half an hour.
Then take some keema in hand and make the keema into oval shapes as shown in the picture below.
Take a pan to heat and add oil to it. Drop the chicken keema ovals into the oil and cook for 5-10 mins till they are fried and cooked properly.
Remove the ovals from oil and drain excess oil using napkins.
The Chicken Keema Ovals are now ready to be served.
Serving Options:
Serve the Chicken Keema Ovals as a starter with tomato sauce/any other sauce of your choice.
