Fried rice is a popular component of Asian cuisine, especially Chinese food. In any fast food joints, Egg Fried Rice/Chicken Fried Rice are definitely something to look out for.Yesterday, I made egg fried rice at home and hence thought of sharing it in my blog. You can make it with the left over rice also. Just have the below ingredients handy and it's really easy to prepare.

Ingredients:

Beans - 50 grams(finely chopped)
Green Chilies - 3(finely chopped)
Carrots - 2(finely chopped)
Onions - 1(finely chopped)
Eggs - 2
Basmati rice - 2 cups
Water - 4 cups
Ajinomoto - pinch
Salt - As per taste
Pepper powder - Half teaspoon
Soya sauce - 1 teaspoon
Oil - 3 tablespoons

Preparation:

Take a pan to heat and add oil to it. Add beans, green chillies and carrot and fry till it gets cooked for about 15-20 mins.

Remove the fried carrot, green chillies and beans pieces and drain excess oil. Keep it aside.
In the same pan,add onions and fry till they turn into light brown color.

Now, beat the eggs in the pan and cook for another 3-4 mins.

Remove the egg mixture from the pan once it is cooked and keep it aside.
Cook the basmati rice in pressure cooker by adding double the quantity of water as that of rice. Once cooked, spread the rice in a plate so that they donot stick to each other.

Now, mix the cooked ingredients, i.e., beans, carrot, green chillies and egg mixture together in a pan and heat it. Also, add ajinomoto, pepper powder and salt.

Add the rice which was kept aside and mix. Add Soyasauce and cook for 5-10 mins.
Remove from heat and serve hot.

Serving Options:

Serve this delicious Egg Fried Rice as a part of your Chinese cuisine or this can be a perfect lunch box item.
