This is one recipe which I wanted to try out from a long time. Everyone loves cakes, and of course cupcakes are easy to eat(kid's favorite). I have experimented cupcakes for the first time and chose to do it simple. Hence, I decided with Vanilla Cup Cakes as my first cup cake recipe. It was fun baking them. Yes, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Have a glimpse of the procedure I went through to make these tongue-tickling cupcakes.
Ingredients:
Eggs - 3
Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon
Powdered White Sugar - 2 cups
Butter - 2 cubes/sticks (large)
Vanilla Extract - 2 tablespoons
Milk - 1 cup
All-purpose Flour/Maida - 2 cups
Corn-flour - Half cup
Salt - Half tablespoon
Butter Cream Frosting / Cake Icing - As required
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C(350 degrees F ).
Take a bowl and beat the eggs. Also add the vanilla extract to it and beat well.
Add the powdered white sugar, butter, baking powder, corn-flour, all purpose flour, milk, salt and beat well so that no lumps are found.
Beat the entire mix properly so that the batter is smooth.
Pour the batter into the baking cups upto 2/3th of the cupcakes by keeping them in the cupcake pan.
Bake the cupcakes in pre-heated oven for 20 mins. Once done remove from the oven and allow them to cool for 5 mins. Then, remove the cupcakes from pan and keep it aside.
Decorate the cupcakes using the icing of your choice. I have used blue color butter cream frosting here.
Serving Options:
Serve the delicious vanilla cup cakes with any type of icing of your choice.
