For all those who have craving for sweets, this is one sweet which is gonna increase your weight as you cannot stop having more and more of it. Rabdi, from what I heard and learnt from is a North-Indian sweet. I have learnt it from a friend of mine who prepares this dish for special occasions. When I tasted it, it felt wow! I guess you can get the feel of it from pictures itself.

Ingredients:
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Condensed Milk - Half cup
  • Grated Paneer - Half cup
  • Sugar - As per taste
  • Elaichi / Cardamom - 2
  • Rose Essence - 4 drops
  • Pistachios - 5(chopped)

Preparation:

Take a heavy bottomed vessel and heat milk. Boil it till it reduces its content to half of original.

Then add condensed milk, grated paneer and rose essence and keep stirring so that it doesn't become sticky. Add the sugar along with pistachios and keep stirring.

Once you aquire the consistency as shown in the below picture, remove from heat and allow it to cool.

Keep it in refrigerator for atleast 2 hours before you serve it. Once done, chilled Rabdi is ready to be served.

Serving Options:

Serve this as a dessert and enjoy the delicious Rabdi.
