Cauliflower happens to be one of the favorite vegetable in my family. We all love it. Also, healthwise it is really good. I read in newspaper a while ago that cauliflower is a cancer killer. As it is, cauliflower doesnot have any taste but when we prepare it adding tomatoes and spices it tastes great. Sharing a simple version of cauliflower curry here.
Ingredients:
Preparation:
Cut the cauliflower into small florets. Boil in it water for 15 minutes on high flame. Once it is boiled, remove the water and keep the cauliflower florets aside.
Take a pan to heat and add oil to it. Add urad dal, chana dal, cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Wait till they pop and add onions and green chillies. Fry till they turn light brown in color. Add turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and salt.
Add the tomatoes and cook for 10 mins. Then add the cauliflower florets and cook for 10 mins by closing it with a lid.
Add red chilli powder and cook for another 5 mins.
