You have witnessed the preparation of dosa batter here. Now, its time to check out another batter preparation which is used to make Idli - A South Indian breakfast item. This is similar to dosa batter preparation with few changes.
Ingredients:
Preparation:
Urad dal is to be soaked in water for 4 hours. Then, clean the urad dal and add it in a blender along with salt and water.
Grind it for 5 minutes till the batter turns soft.
Wash the idli ravva with water. Remove the water and add the ravva in the urad dal batter. Mix well and keep it aside for 3 hours.
The batter is now ready to be used.
Serving Options:
This batter can be used for the preparation of idli which can be seen in the upcoming posts.
