The most easiest and delicious breakfast item is Poha. And when we add lime juice to it, it becomes Nimbu Poha which tastes yummy. This is infact the best breakfast option for people who are on a diet as it has low calories. And not to forget it is easy to prepare, so it can be the best lunch box option too.
Ingredients:
Preparation:
Wash the flattened rice/poha with water. Drain the water and keep it aside.
Take a pan to heat and add oil to it. Add chana dal, cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Once they pop, add onions, green chillies and curry leaves. Fry for 2 mins and add turmeric powder and salt. Mix well and add lime juice. Leave it on heat for 2 mins.
Add the flattened rice/poha and mix. Cook for 5 mins and remove from heat.
The delicious Nimbu Poha is ready to be served.
Serving Options:
Serve it as a breakfast/snack item with ginger chutney.
