Poori is a breakfast item which is quite famous in many parts of India. It is made using wheat flour and frying in oil. It is pretty simple but I am sharing it here as I think this would help beginners in cooking. It tastes best when its eaten with potato masala/aloo masala.
Intro:
Ingredients:
Preparation:
Mix wheat flour, salt and semolina with water and prepare the dough.
Cover the dough with a lid and keep it aside for half an hour.
Take little quantity of dough and make round balls as shown in the picture.
Take the balls and roll it evenly using a rolling pin into circular shape.
Heat the oil in a pan and drop the poori's one after the other. Press on it till it puffs and then turn on the other side. Once it turns golden brown remove from heat.
Drain the excess oil and serve the hot poori's.
