No special occasions or festivals are celebrated without Kesari. Very easy and quick sweet to prepare in a jiffy. This kesari is little different from the regular one. It is very healthy and nutritious because of the addition of wheat rawa. Wheat rawa, known as Samba gothumai Rawa in southern regions has all benefits of wheat flour, since it contains the bran and germ of the wheat. It provides additional benefits as well. This is diabetic friendly and for this sweet version, sugar free can be substituted. Try this healthy kesari and enjoy your occasions in a more healthier way.
Ingredients:
Preparation:
Roast wheat rawa using ghee in a pan and keep aside.
Add ghee to the same pan and add the chopped nuts and cardamom powder. Fry them and keep aside.
Now add water in the pan, let it boil. Add the roasted wheat rawa and cook for 5 minutes in a medium flame or until the water evaporates.
Now add the sugar and mix well.
Cook for another 5 minutes and add the fried nuts.
Mix well and remove from the flame. For Garnishing, add ghee in the pan and add the sliced bananas. Saute them for a minute and remove. Garnish with the sauted Bananas and serve warm.
Serving Options:
Serve with any spicy snacks like Boondi, Karasev etc. and Tea/Coffee.

- Cashews - 5(chopped)

- Bananas - 2(chopped into slices)
- Cashews - Few
