Green Moon Dal Fritters is a perfect evening snack to munch with a cup of hot tea or coffee. Actually couple of days back, I soaked green gram for preparing Pesarattu and the awesome climate outside swapped my mind to prepare this yummy fritters. This recipe is very simple and easy to prepare. To make them more nutritious, grated carrots, potatoes and peas can also be included. This is a perfect snack for kids too. Coming to the benefits of green gram, this is more healthier as it contains Vitamin A, B, C, E, calcium, Iron and Potassium. It has a rich source of protein and fiber. Also it has very low fat which helps in reducing weight.
Ingredients:
Preparation:
Soak green moong dal for couple of hours. Wash and grind to a fine paste without adding water.
Now add the chopped onions, green chillies, mint leaves, coriander leaves, rice flour and salt to the ground paste.
Mix well.
Shape them into small rolls.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the moong rolls in a medium flame.
Once done, remove from flame and drain the excess oil using kitchen towels. Serve hot.
Serving Options:
Serve the green moong dal fritters with tomato sauce or coconut chutney along with a cup of hot tea or coffee.

- Onions - 1 cup(finely chopped)

- Salt - As per taste
