Who on earth doesn't like chocolates! And wouldn't it be great if something more chocolaty, spongy and fluffy gets ready in just 5 mins. I am talking about 5 mins Eggless Chocolate Cake. Make this delicious chocolate cake in 5 mins and serve them hot and fresh. I read this some where the word "STRESSED" when reversed becomes Dessert. So if you are stressed and want try some quick dessert this is the one you are looking for.
Ingredients:
Preparation:
In a mixing bowl mix milk and sugar till the sugar dissolves.
Now sieve in all dry ingredients all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda in the milk mixture.
Add vanilla essence and oil. Whisk them well.
At last add lemon juice and give it a quick mix. In a microwave safe greased pan, pour all the cake batter and give it a tap.
Bake the cake in microwave for 5 mins. After 5 mins you can check the cake by pricking a tooth pick. If it comes out clean then your cake is done. If not, you might have to microwave them for one more minute or so till they are done.
Now give the cake a standing time of 5 mins to cool and then remove the cake in a serving plate by turning the pan upside down on the plate.
Your spongy, soft chocolate cake is ready.
Tips:
Adding lemon improves the work of baking powder and helps in raising of cake.
Oil is optional but gives the cake a nice texture.
Before turning the cake on the serving plate make sure you remove the edge using a knife so that it come out clean.
Serving Options:
Top the chocolate cake with chocolate syrup or frost them with any cake frosting and enjoy. Also serve them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
