A twist has been given to the simple garlic chutney by adding tomatoes to it and here we have Garlic Tomato Chutney. Tomato gives it the much needed tang, adding an earthy flavor. Try it once and you are going to love it.
Ingredients:
Preparation:
Peel the garlic and chop the tomatoes. Put all the ingredients except oil and mustard in a blender.
Blend it to a fine paste(no need to add water if the tomatoes are well riped).
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds let them crackle. Now add the garlic tomato paste and cook the chutney till the oil leaves in the sides of the mixture.
Cool completely and you can store in refrigerator for 15 days.
Serve at room temperature.
Serving Options:
Garlic Tomato Chutney goes well with roti/paratha.

- Dry Red Chillies - 2
- Ripe Tomato - 1
- Olive Oil - 1 teaspoon
- Mustard Seeds - One-fourth teaspoon
