Masala Papad Cone is an easy and delicious starter recipe. They are easy to prepare and healthy as well. This delicious dish can be prepared in few minutes and is loved by kids too. Enjoy this delicious masala papad cone.
Ingredients:
Preparation:
For Filling:
Add all the ingredients except for the papad and oil and mix well.
Now Either you can fry the papad or roast them on a nonstick tawa.
For Roasting on tawa:
I feel this method is more easy and healthy. Cut the whole papad in two halves. Heat nonstick tawa, roast the papad from one side and then flip and roast the other side. After roasting both the sides immediately bring both the corners of the halved papad to the center to form a cone shape and hold it for while it will take the shape once it cools down.
For Frying the papad:
Cut the papad into 4 pieces and roll each piece into a cone shape. Hold the shape with the help of a pair of tongs and dip into hot oil for 20-25 secs. Remove fried papad from wok try to make cone out of it and keep on a blotting paper/paper napkin. Allow to cool for 5 mins.
Assembling of masala papad cone:
Stuff the prepared mixture into the papad cone.
Garnish with coriander leaves and sev and serve immediately.
Serving Options:
Serve the masala papad cone with mint or coriander chutney on top.
Tips:
Use fresh papads for best results.
The filling can also be spread on the papad as such instead of making a cone.
