Gatte are made as sabzi and are generally made of besan. Here we are going to use leftover rice and whole wheat flour to make a delicious snack. Chawal Ke Gatte can be served as tea time snack or can be enjoyed any time if you have some leftover rice available.
Ingredients:
Preparation:
Mix all the ingredients under dough and make a firm dough.
Divide the dough into equal parts and make then into cylinder shape gatte. In a deep pan, boil water and slide the gatte and cook them.
If you insert a knife in the gatta it should come clean. After they are done, drain them and slice them.
Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and cumin powder to them.
In a pan heat oil, add mustard seeds and fennel seeds. After they splatter add the gatte and mix till they combine with masala.
Garnish with chopped coriander. Serve hot as it is and enjoy.

- Red Chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - One-fourth teaspoon
- Cumin powder - Half teaspoon
- Salt - As per taste Other Ingredients:
