Payasam is the main dessert in any South Indian menu. Payasam is easy and quick to make dessert. I made this payasam with cracked wheat / wheat rawa. Wheat rawa is good for diabetic people. This payasam is very flavourful.
Ingredients:
Preparation:
Heat the ghee and roast the cashews and raisins. Keep them aside.
In the same pan, add cracked wheat and roast till the aroma comes(say for about five minutes) in medium flame.
Add the milk and stir well. Also add about two cup of water.
Cook for 10–15 minutes.
Add the roasted cashews and raisins and mix well. Cracked Wheat Dessert is ready to serve.

- Milk – 1 cup
- Water – 2 cups
- Cashews – 5
- Raisins – 5
- Ghee – 1 teaspoon
- Sugar – 6 tablespoons
