We have already reviewed many face masks at Diva Likes. We are back with another face masque and this time it is from Queen Helene. It is the Queen Helene Grape Seed Extract Peel Off Masque which has grapeseed extract. When I bought this face masque, I did not notice that it has alcohol as one ingredient. It was only after I received them and opened it that I saw the ingredients list. This was the first beauty product I ever used which has alcohol as one ingredient. But I did read somewhere that it works well for the skin. So I thought let me try and decide by myself.
About Queen Helene Grape Seed Extract Peel Off Masque:
Clogged pores can make skin appear older. Grape Seed Extract contains a powderful antioxidant similar to that contained in Pycnogenol, a natural skin purifier that will help clean and refine your skin.
Within minutes after application, Grape Seed Masque dries to a peelable film that lifts and draws out impurities from the pores. After the peel, the masque will reveal cleaner, revitalized younger looking skin.
Price:
$5.99 for 6 oz./170 gms
Availability:

Ingredients:
Water(Aqua), Alcohol Denatured, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, PEG-75, Grapeseed Extract, Glycerin, PPG-12-PEG-65 Lanolin Oil, Benzophenone-4, Disodium EDTA, Diazolidinyl Urea, Fragrance(Parfum), Ext.Violet #2(CI #60730), Red #33(CI #17200).
Directions For Use:
Gently spread an even generous amount of Grape Seed Extract Peel Off Masque onto clean face and neck, avoiding eyes, brows and hairline. After 10 minutes, start at the jaw line and peel off in an upward motion. Remove any excess masque with warm water and pat dry. For best results, repeat twice each week.
My Experience With Queen Helene Grape Seed Extract Peel Off Masque:
I was really confused if I should go ahead using this product or not because it contained alchohol. Still I went ahead and tried it as it had the goodness of grape seed extract. This is finely packed in a tube like other Queen Helene products. But this mask was spilling off which got accumulated at the mouth of the tube and dried over time. I feel this kind of packing is not ideal for this masque as it was getting dirty at the mouth. As soon as I poured some mask it smelled strongly of alcohol which was a big turn off for me. It was light transparent in color with violet shade. It was thick and sticky which made it difficult to apply. The directions say that it will get dried in 10 minutes but as it is thick, it took nearly 20-25 minutes to dry. However, it was easy to peel off. The skin felt clean after rinsing with water and the impurities were gone. But it did not have any great effect on my skin. It was just an average face mask but its smell was too strong. I don't think I will buy this product again.

Cons Of Queen Helene Grape Seed Extract Peel Off Masque:
Diva Likes Rating:
2.5/5
Final Note:
I did not like this masque as it didn't do anything great with my skin. Moreover, its alcohol smell is the biggest drawback for me. I am surely not going to buy it again and will not recommend this product.
