Faces Ultime Pro Gel Waterproof Mascara Review & Swatch

Faces was one of my favorite brands but now this brand has hiked their products prices like crazy. Yes, Faces colored eye pencils now comes for Rs.350/-. I don't know why Faces is doing this but after the hiked prices I have rarely bought anything from this brand. I bought this Ultime pro mascara when my HG colossal mascara was out of stock. I really needed a mascara and I happened to buy this one. The price was obviously on the higher side but I still thought of giving it a shot. My Experience With Faces Ultime Pro Gel Waterproof Mascara:

This mascara comes in a black cylindrical tube and the details are written in silver color on the pack. The packaging looks convenient and looks expensive too. Obviously it has to look good, as you are spending 800 bucks on the mascara. The wand is good and the bristles are small thus it reaches the corners of the eyes easily. I apply mascara almost every day without curling my lashes as I don't have enough time to first curl and then apply mascara. So I prefer mascara which curls my lashes too.

This mascara claims to curl lashes but it failed completely as it doesn't curl up my lashes even after 2 coats. Coming to next claim of lengthening, it is true as it gives an illusion of length to my lashes and I love it for that. But my love ends there only because it clumps badly after 2 coats. I feel really bad when products don't work even after spending so much money. I usually apply 2 coats for daily use but for special occasions I like to coat my lashes 3-4 times and this just doesn't work well. The mascara dries quickly within a minute and it stays for entire day on me. It is waterproof and smudgeproof. Overall, I think there are many better options available in the market that too at a cheaper price and thus I won't recommend it to others.

• I would have preferred a lower price and less quantity
• Ingredients list is missing
• Doesn't curl lashes
• Starts clumping after 2 coats

Final Note:

It is an average mascara which is overpriced and does nothing extra ordinary. If you are looking for a good mascara that curls and gives definition to your lashes then this mascara is not for you as it is not up to the mark.
