Hi dearies! I believe beautiful hair is an obsession for all. I am a digger of herbal products and have a very experimental mind when it comes to shampoos. I have used Lotus Herbals Kera-Veda Hennapura Henna Shampoo With Conditioner and it worked better than other shampoos for my hair fall. I am dreaded of the hair fall issue and my quest for the perfect hair fall defense brought me to Lotus Herbals Kera-Veda Neemactiv Neem & Reetha Anti-Dandruff Shampoo, while the Hennapura shampoo was not available. Let's see how this one worked on my hair.
About Lotus Herbals Kera-Veda Neemactiv Neem & Reetha Anti-Dandruff Shampoo:
Combining the well-known goodness of Neem and Reetha, this unique anti-dandruff shampoo also helps hinder hair fall and hair loss. Neem helps relieve dry and itchy scalp, dandruff and Reetha makes hair silky, shiny and stronger, thus encouraging hair growth. It is meant for all hair types.
Price:
145 INR for 150 ml
Ingredients List:
Water, Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Decyl Glucoside, Neem Extract, Reetha Extract, Cocomonoethanolamide, Climbazole, Sodium Chloride, Caprylyl Methicone, Water And Hydrolyzed Keratin, Polyquatermium 30, 2-Phenoxyethanol, Methyl Paraben, Sodium, Propyl Paraben Sodium, Citric Acid, Light Green SF C.I. No- 42095, Fragrance.
Directions For Use:
Squeeze out some quantity on the palm of your hand. Apply on wet hair and lather it up. Leave in for 1 minute. Rinse off.
My Experience With Lotus Herbals Kera-Veda Neemactiv Neem & Reetha Anti-Dandruff Shampoo:
This shampoo comes in a yellow bottle with a green colored flip cap. The texture is runny and color is a very light tint of green like almost transparent liquid. The fragrance is mild and mostly smells of herbs. The first thing I noticed when I dispensed this shampoo, is the stubborn bottle cap. It neither opens easily nor does it shut easily. It might sometimes chip nails as well.
I have a fairly oily scalp with dry hair ends and I also suffer from hair fall. So I prefer using two shampoos. I use one for the scalp and one for my hair which can work on my problem areas and control my hair fall. I generally use Lotus Hennapura for my scalp and started using Neemactiv variant when the other was not available. I was disappointed with this one totally. It made my hair fall worse and tangled hair all the more. However, it did not make my scalp oily. Though this shampoo contains the goodness of neem & reetha and comes at an affordable price, I would still not suggest anyone to go for it. It increased hair fall and I would never use it again.

Cons Of Lotus Herbals Kera-Veda Neemactiv Neem & Reetha Anti-Dandruff Shampoo:

Final Note:
I did not find this product effective and it does not live up to its claims. It neither works on hair fall nor on hair growth. It may work on a different hair type but that will contradict their claim which says compatible for any hair type. I don't recommend this shampoo and my quest of perfect hair fall shampoo still continues!
