Today if you look around, it is difficult to find people who are not into online shopping. But you can find many online shopping addicts as this model is simple, time saving and cheaper than going to a store and spending. There are many international brands moving to India and there are mergers taking place in Indian online space. This is probably the best time for e-commerce and the future only shows wonderful development on the online shopping front. People are shopping big and saving smart which is possible with the various deals, discounts, coupons and cashback offers which are increasing day by day. Recently CashKaro has come up with an edition on online shopping trends by conducting a survey among their social media followers like us, to know the current shopping trends. The survey information is quite interesting and this post is a compilation of the same.
We look at many things when shopping online like price, quality, payment security, delivery, after sales service and presentation among which cheaper price happens to be an important criteria for people who shop online.
If you take a look at the average spending of people per year when they shop online, you can see that most of them spend nearly 10,000 INR to 50,000 INR which is surely going to increase by leaps and bounds in the coming days. Online shopping includes various categories like electronics, clothing, books, health, beauty, travel, furnishing etc. The categories and expenditure are only going to widen in the coming days paving a way for bigger and better online shopping market.
Though there are a number of online shopping sites offering varieties of products and discounts, Flipkart remains to be the favorite online shopping website for a lot of shoppers. Amazon, Myntra, Jabong and Paytm are the other sites which people enjoy shopping at.
In addition to the deals, discounts and coupons, another important factor which is encouraging online shopping is the cashback concept. I don't think there is anyone who doesn't want to get paid for shopping. Everyone is on the lookout for lower prices and that happens to be the second best factor which boosts online shopping followed by convenience, variety and easy returns.
The survey reveals that 95% of the online shopping population finds the concept of cashback attractive. Among the online shoppers, 33% use discount coupons, 29% use cashback, 20% use gift vouchers and 18% look out for daily deals. This survey definitely reveals that discount coupons and cashback are becoming increasingly popular with each passing day. They help us to save lot of money and no wonder people have used it when shopping online.
Personally, cashback concept is very appealing and convinces me to shop more online. Ever since I started using CashKaro, I have been saving a whole lot of money and using the same to buy more products. Cashback is an interesting model which is going to get even better in the days to come.
