Hello beautiful souls! How is everybody doing? I have reviewed a variety of products on Diva likes till date. Mostly I reviewed face washes and face packs but today I am going to review a shampoo for you all. Recently many shampoos have been reviewed on Diva Likes and even I decided to join the league. I am reviewing the recently launched Park Avenue Beer Shampoo today. I was in search of this shampoo since long but most of the time they were out of stock near my place. So when I saw it, I just grabbed it without thinking. You must be aware of beer as a wonderful remedy for hair and skin problems. But still I would like to share some information on beer before proceeding. Beer contains malt and hops which repair damaged hair. It also contains a high amount of sucrose and maltose which tightens the hair cuticles by adding shine and volume to it. I had lots of expectations with this shampoo. So let's see how it fared.

My Experience With Park Avenue Beer Shampoo:
I have never seen a fancy packaging for a shampoo bottle like this one. It has a very unique design which is almost like a beer bottle. The shampoo has a flip cap. I don't know if it is only in my case or not but the cap seems a little loose to me. It does not shut with a sound. In that case I find it to be a little doubtful regarding travel friendly.
The shampoo has a runny gel like consistency. The color is beautiful orangish yellow. I don't know how a beer smells because I have never had any encounter with it but this shampoo smells very bad. When I shampoo my hair I just hold my breath because the smell makes me feel like puking. Thankfully the smell fades completely after washing the hair. The shampoo does not lather much but that does not mean it does not clean. It effectively removes all the dirt and grime from hair in just a single wash.
If you oiled your hair, then you will require two washes with this shampoo. After shampooing, it leave my hair bouncy. Beer is said to add shine to the hair but this is not the case here. It adds only little shine to the hair. Moreover, it made my hair dry. I have wavy and rough hair and this added more roughness. I have to follow up with conditioner and serum to make my hair manageable. This shampoo is just good for adding a little bounce and shine only. If anybody has straight hair, I think this will work more effectively on them. Otherwise it does not do any good to the other hair problems like dandruff, hair fall and split ends.
Pros Of Park Avenue Beer Shampoo:
Cons Of Park Avenue Beer Shampoo:
Diva Likes Rating:
2.5/5
Final Note:
This is an average shampoo and looks fancy because of the name. You can try it for the sake of it if you find the concept of beer shampoo unique. It did not do any wonders on my hair. I don't know how it will work on straight hair but trying will not harm.

Nicely reviewed. I tried this product once and was very disappointed. I switched to using original light beer to add bounce and shine to my hair.
