Pheww! Finding the right type of anti-perspirant deodorant is a big task, especially when it comes with a big list of conditions to be fulfilled. As I have sensitive skin, I always wanted a mild and gentle anti-perspirant deodorant that will have a long staying power without being too harsh on my skin. Moreover I was really irritated with the white marks left behind by anti-perspirants. So I was constantly trying out different deodorants. Some were long stay ones but then they left behind a horrible white stain on my clothes. The others which didn't leave the white marks left my company too soon. One saturday evening, while walking in the aisles of a busy super market, amidst the soapy and powdery smell of various beauty products, I halted in front of the shelves displaying a plethora of deodorants. An anti perspirant deodorant with anti white marks claim did appeal to me greatly. That's when I decided to give Dove Clear Touch Anti White Marks Anti Perspirant Deodorant a try. Voila! This is my take on the product.

Directions For Use:

Shake well before use. Hold can 15 cm from underarm and spray. Do not apply to broken or sore skin. Stop use if irritation develops. Do not spray near face or eyes.

My Experience With Dove Clear Touch Anti White Marks Anti Perspirant Deodorant:

Dove Clear Touch Anti White Marks Anti Perspirant Deodorant is packaged in a smooth white tin spray can with a silver cap and its classic Dove logo. The nozzle sprays out adequate amount of deodorant each time when it is used. The light color of the bottle was one of the main features that really attracted me to buy this product. The fragrance is soothing just like its packaging. The scent is more on the floral side but slightly powdery. This is a perfect deodorant for my daily use.

A dash of Dove Clear Touch Deodorant is enough to keep white patchy armpits at bay. Unlike many anti perspirants, Dove Clear Touch does not become flaky when sprayed on skin. Neither does the deodorant crumble when it comes in contact with the fabric nor does it peels off when it has been on for 4-5 hours. So I absolutely need not worry about the anti-persipirant white marks on my casual comfy tee or my favourite silk kurti. I was also bowled over by its staying power. Even after 5-6 hours, the fragrance still lingers softly giving me a fresh feeling. And here is the coolest part; this deodorant doesn't sting even when used immediately after the occasional underarm hair removal process. I am sure almost all my dear ladies experience the irritation and stinging feeling every time we use a deodorant after waxing or shaving our armpit. But thanks to Dove, I don't have to bear this painful sensation anymore.

I have learned over the time that directions for use must be taken seriously even if it is merely a deodorant because if the can is not shaken properly before use or held at the mentioned distance, it can cause sudden skin irritation leaving a small spot resembling a burnt mark. On the other hand, as claimed by Dove, Clear Touch Anti White Marks Deodorant does have a mild moisturizing effect on your armpit after continued use, leaving your underarms feeling soft and smooth. But its 24 hours protection claim is too exaggerated. It can last maximum up to 6-7 hours. But nevertheless, even when it fades away its gentle powdery smell lingers for some more time. Every time I get a whiff of the fragrance amidst my busy schedule, I feel quite refreshed. And now I can confidently greet a friend with a big wave without worrying about underarms with white marks.

It is an ideal anti perspirant deodorant for your day-to-day use. It keeps you deodorized for long hours without being harsh on your sensitive underarms. So if you are hunting frantically for a perfect deodorant, then I think this one is totally worth giving a try.
