It is a little embarrassing to admit that I have never used a lip liner before. The product I am going to review today is the first lip liner I had ever used. I was a little nervous when I saw the lip liner in the package because I wasn't even sure how this works. But more than being nervous, I was excited. My Experience With Coloressence Lip Liner Pencil Maroon:

It comes in a plastic pencil like package with a piece of paper stuck around the circumference indicating the shade of the product. The pencil is black in color with a dual twist up type. The twist up is a little too loose. Because of this, the product keeps going inside when too much pressure is applied. This becomes a problem while application. The cap of the pencil closes with a click and is definitely travel friendly.

The liner has a mild smell, which is absolutely beautiful. The shade of the product is a beautiful maroon. It looks like almost brick red to me. It is quite dark and lines beautifully in just one swipe. It gives a perfect shape to the lips and makes them look pretty. It gives a nice definition to the lips and keeps the lipstick intact. The consistency of the lip liner is soft and glides over the lips like a dream. It stays for over 3-4 hours after which it slowly starts fading away. After a particular point, it leaves behind a tint which disappears only when you wash it off. Even when my lipstick started fading away, the liner remained intact. For a first time user like me, this lip liner is definitely one of the best option to go for!
