Today I am back with the review of a sunscreen spray. Sunscreen is such an essential item in our daily life that we can't even think of stepping out without it. As people in India sweat a lot, it is very essential to apply sunscreen every 2-3 hours. Now my question is how often people do that? Speaking for myself, I don't apply it again and again because I am a lazy person. That's why I was looking for a shortcut. I wanted to have a sunscreen spray so that I can re-apply it whenever required. Let's see how this one worked for me.
About Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Intensive Sunblock Spray SPF 50:
This easy to use fine mist spray offers quick protection from UVA & UVB rays. It contains natural actives of chamomile, sage and thyme. Use on all exposed parts of the body, reapply frequently.
Price:
315 INR
Ingredients List:
Directions For Use:
Spray directly on all exposed parts of the body (neck, arms, legs etc.) before exposure to sun. For face, spray into hand and apply to face. Re-apply frequently.
My Experience With Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Intensive Sunblock Spray SPF 50:
It is very difficult to re-apply sunscreen every time I wash my face. I have an oily skin and this makes it a difficult job for me. If I apply sunscreen on an oily face, it turns even more oily. So my only savior is a sunscreen spray. Lotus has a trademark for best sunscreens with mid-range price so I thought of giving it a try. To begin with, the packaging is decent enough. It is in a plastic bottle with a spray nozzle and a translucent orange cap. It is very handy to use and is travel friendly.
One or two pumps from the nozzle is enough for re-applying on the face. The product is white liquid with a runny consistency. I often carry this bottle to my college and make it a point to apply it before I go out in the sun. Before applying it I splash my face with water and then pat dry. The liquid gets readily absorbed in the skin within few seconds giving a fresh matte look. So, I don't need to get worried about sweating.
The only slight thing that bothered me was the whitish layer it forms due to the presence of sunscreen. Dry skin people may not like this as it makes the skin completely matte. Overall, this product has worked wonders for me.
Pros Of Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Intensive Sunblock Spray SPF 50:
Cons Of Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Intensive Sunblock Spray SPF 50:
Diva Likes Rating:
4.5/5
Final Note:
This is really one amazing product for oily skin people. Sunscreen has never been so easy to apply. I shall recommend it to everyone who faces the problem of re-applying sunscreen. I am already using a second bottle and wish to continue further with this sunscreen.
