Greetings to all the lovely readers! There are some beauty products which you become a fan of, with just one use. But as days pass and new products come up, you tend to forget the old products. The same happens to me when it comes to makeup and skin care products. Sometime back, I was gifted Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Face Wash by my sister. It was a big pump bottle and lasted very long. I was in love with it and thought that it was the best cleanser for my oily skin. But then I started experimenting with other brands and never bought it again. When I got a Neutrogena product in my second Diva Likes, I knew it was time to try this brand again. Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming cleanser is yet another skin care product from this wonderful brand.
About Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser:
Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming cleanser is a refreshing facial cleanser that thoroughly removes dirt, oil and dead skin cells while providing long lasting oil control to improve the look and feel of it.
• This clinically proven formula lathers to a rich, creamy foam which removes skin's impurities which can build up in pores such as excess oil, dirt and makeup, even stuff you don't even know is there.
• Oil control formula helps reduce surface oil while retaining the skins natural moisture balance to keep skin clear, fresh and healthy looking.
Price:
95 INR for 50 g
Shelf Life:
3 years
Ingredients List:
Water, stearic acid, glycerin, PEG-8, propylene glycol, myristic acid, potassium hydroxide, lauric acid, beeswax, glyceryl stearate, PEG-100 stearate, Beeswax.
Directions For Use:
Use twice a day. Squeeze a small amount into hands and work into rich lather. Massage onto wet face. Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse thoroughly.
My Experience With Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser:
This foaming cleanser comes in a regular tube packaging in white and yellow gradient effect color. It has a flip flop cap which is very tight and the tube is also of good quality. So there is no fear of leakage, in case you carry it in your bag. But after two to three uses, the product starts getting accumulated at the mouth. So every time I use it, I have to clean the mouth. Overall, the packaging is nice but not very fancy. The cleanser is pearly white in color. It has a creamy and smooth consistency. Only a small amount is needed and it lathers insanely. The smell is very refreshing and lingers for a few minutes after washing.
Once washed, the face feels free of dirt, oil and all the traces of grime. My face looks clean and brightened. Though it removes all oil and dirt, it does not dry out my skin. So their claim of maintaining skin's moisture balance is completely true. It also leaves a pore refining effect. I think it can be drying for dry skin people. A follow up with moisturizer will be needed. Apart from this, it does not work much on acne and breakouts. It is a good cleanser for oily skin as it leaves the skin oil free.
Pros Of Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser:
Cons Of Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser:
Diva Likes Rating:
4.5/5
Final Note:
I would have given it 5/5, if it didn't have drying effect on dry skin people. Otherwise it's a wonderful product for oily skin. It removes all the dirt and oil from the face and leaves a brightened effect. It maintains skin's natural moisture and also controls oil. All in all it is a great cleanser for oily skin.
