I am thoroughly enjoying my holidays by exploring lot of skincare and makeup products. I am also reading various articles on beauty and getting to know the so many myths which we believe even today. It is so important for us to know the right thing based on facts. Coming to today's post, I am here with the review of Coloressence Kajal Pencil Black, which I received in my Diva Likes haul. Coloressence is quite a good brand and the products I have used so far were decent and there was no disappointment.
About Coloressence Kajal Pencil Black:
The soft and creamy texture of Kajal Pencil gives an ultra smooth finish for bold Eyes. Added camphor and castor oil is to soothe, cool and grow eyelashes longer.
Price:
145 INR for 0.25 g
Shelf Life:
3 years
Key Ingredients:
Camphor and castor oil.
Directions For Use:
Draw a fine line close to the lower lashes from inner to outer corner of the eyes.
My Experience With Coloressence Kajal Pencil Black:
Packaging: The kajal comes in a black retractable plastic cylindrical body with a black plastic cap. The twist up function is not smooth at all. In fact, it is too loose and fragile. I always need to be careful with it to avoid any breakage. It doesn't seem travel friendly at all.
Shade & Pigmentation: The kajal is black in color but neither too deep nor too light. It is just black. The color isn't too great to rave about. It is better as eyeliner than kajal.
Texture: Thankfully, the texture is slightly creamy. I can at least glide it over my eyelids without any tugging or pulling. Though the texture is slightly creamy, the kajal looks absolutely matte. It is nowhere near to being waterproof and smudgeproof. In fact, within an hour it starts smudging, making me look like a depressed raccoon. I have tried several methods to make it stay on my eyes but all my efforts failed horribly.
Staying Power: It stays on my eyes as an eyeliner for 3-4 hours but I dread applying it on my water lids or lower lids.
With such a price tag, I wasn't expecting such a dud. The only mercy this product did on me was that there wasn't any irritation or burning sensation in my eyes when I applied it.
Pros Of Coloressence Kajal Pencil Black:
Cons Of Coloressence Kajal Pencil Black:
Diva Likes Rating:
1.5/5
Final Note:
If you look at the price tag, it is a sheer wastage of money. If you add a few more bucks, you can get either colossal or eyeconic which are really good when compared to this. Coming from a brand like Coloressence, it is extremely disappointing. Therefore, in my opinion, you can totally give it a miss.
